Android x86 for Asus T100TA Build May 2nd, 2015 Changes from build April 21st: * Switched to standard git 4.0 kernel, no more out of repo patches. * Added build with Gapps Please update gapps before use. * Added Bluetooth support The driver is too buggy to be usable though. Build Notes: I get a lot of test reports from people trying my builds on devices other than the Asus T100TA. While I encourage this, I only test this build on Asus T100TA. I may be able to help those willing to try my builds on other devices, but please understand that I cannot fix problems occuring on devices which I don't have. Therefore from now on, I'm explictly marking my builds as T100TA specific by adding "T100TA" to download file name. Also, please note, even though they're similar to T100TA, Asus T100TAM and it's variants T100TAF and T100TAL aren't compatible with this build. These tablets are also based on Bay Trail platform, but have different hardware. This build will boot on these tablets, but some things (eg. wireless, sound) may not work properly. --------- Regarding Bluetooth: I've replaced Android's Bluedroid stack with BlueZ, the same Bluetooth stack as used in Ubunutu. This enables T100TA's Bluetooth to work in Android. Unfortunately, it's currently too buggy to be usable. Please do not report problems with Bluetooth, unless you know how to fix them Here are build instructions and files needed for those who want to make their own Android x86 build with BlueZ: http://raspis.ddscentral.org/pub/downloads/android-x86/dev/bluetooth/ If you have any questions about this build or want propose a fix for Bluetooth or any other problem with Linux on T100TA, you can contact me by email: dds@ddscentral.org
